The Spanish Portuguese Local Chapter of the Controlled Release Society

 2018- XII SPLC-CRS Conference in Coimbra, January 2018 - Best oral communication and poster awards

  Best communication award was given to João Conniot (in the picture) from the Research Institute for Medicines of the University of Lisbon, at “XII   Spanish-Portuguese Conference on Controlled Drug Delivery”, January 14-16 Coimbra, Portugal 2018. Best poster award was given to Andreia   Pimenta from Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon. The titles of the selected communications were:

• "Combination of Dendritic Cell-targeted Nano-vaccines with Immune Checkpoint Therapy for Melanoma."
• "Moxifloxacin-loaded acrylic intraocular lenses for prevention of postoperative endophthalmitiss: in vitro and in vivo performance." 

The award consisted on travel grants allowing the participation of the students at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Controlled Release Society, that took place in New York on July 22-24.
