The Spanish Portuguese Local Chapter of the Controlled Release Society

Maria Jose Alonso of the School of Pharmacy at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, was elected today a member of the (US) National Academy of Medicine.

Election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service.
